The UFC have issued an official press release confirming a match that people have been waiting years to see. Chuck Liddell vs. Wanderlei Silva are to face eachother in the Octagon. Yet, I find myself asking, “is this fight at least 2yrs too late?”

It definitely seemed odd that Randy “resigned” from the UFC when you consider that fighters are under contract. It’s not a job; you can’t just “resign”. You fullfill the terms of the contract (in Randy’s case - do two more fights) or you’re in breach of that contract. Dana White has rejected Randy’s resignation.

Shane Thomas made a deal with himself that, win or lose, he would retire from full contact fighting following his fight at Tribal Warfare. Kokoro MMA were in Galway for the weekend and it was a great event!
