Affliction… …A July 19th Card that Kicks A$$

The card(s) for the upcoming Affliction events are super strong. With “The Trump” behind them; they’ve the financial muscle to be a force. They’ve also got a card that has us interested in “commercial mma” again.

The battle for viewers between “Affliction: Banned” and “UFC Fight Night: Silva vs. Irvin” continues.

Affliction announced Thursday that its “Banned” event on July 19, which takes place at the Honda Center in Anaheim, will air live on closed circuit television at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, directly across the street from the Palm Hotel & Casino, the site of the UFC Fight Night special headlined by Anderson Silva vs. James Irvin.

The viewing at the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino will begin with the Fox Sports Net broadcast at 5pm PT followed by the pay-per-view broadcast at 6pm PT.

    Some good looking match-ups in there. Especially excited about seeing Belfort fighting again, and the Fedor fight should be worth a laugh.

    yeh its great to see belfort on that card and hopefully he has his training back on track cause he hasn’t been in good shape for his fights in cage rage and we might even see him make his way to an Elite XC title shot off Robbie Lawler

    I wonder will Randy Couture be there or be part of the commentary team? Then again he may not be allowed to take part because of his UFC contract issues.
