Just a few days ago, Johnny wasn’t sure that he would be fighting at Ultimate Conflict V, following the withdrawl of his opponent. It’s testimony to his mindset though, that he stayed 100% focused on being prepared to fight, training with fingers crossed!
It’s been a crazy weekend but it’s been worth it! Some forty or so volunteers from the gym have been working the whole weekend to get our new HQ up and running. We’re pleased to say, that training at the new place has begun!
Thomas Nolan and Jonny Origan stepped up to the plate for their ring and Chaos Fighting Championships debut this evening.

Jonny ‘The Origin’ Origan is all set to get into the cage for a tough first bout against Gareth Lyons of Kyoujin MMA. We’ve received confirmation that he will appear in his C-Class cage debut at Ultimate Conflict 2.
With more fights than you can poke a stick at, production values that are second to none, the “most sturdy cage in MMA” and five fighters from Kokoro MMA on the card we can guarantee a great show at Ultimate Conflict 2!
Shane Thomas puts 1W on the scorecard for his comeback tour after three rounds that saw action standing, clinched and grounded on every square inch of available ring space (plus a few seconds hanging outside the ring!).
We’ve a steady stream of new blood entering the gym and joining us in that blissful state known as MMA Addiction. Those that stay the course and dedicate themselves to progression are well deserving of recognition and a few promotions…

Leo never fails to deliver and his final matchup of the year is now booked. Expect a great show as Leo will want to go out with a bang and we know that Sudden Impact’s Connor Mulholland will be a solid opponent.
Shane ends the 2008 leg of his comeback tour with a 3rd Pro Matchup on November 8th, 2008. Chaos Fighting Championships are set for their 3rd installment and Shane’s looking forward to being on the card.
Johnny Bowden, king of the swingers and a “bloody nice bloke”, is about to get his day in the sun. We’ve received confirmation that he will appear in his C-Class cage debut at Ultimate Conflict.
Shane’s getting himself set for his comeback tour. His first match will be at EFR on August 24th. His second match up is now scheduled for a caged encounter at Ultimate Conflict 2.
Cathal is something of a crowd pleaser despite having just the one fight behind him. Can’t say we’re surprised though! We’ve just received confirmation that Cathal is to grace the mat once more at Chaos.
The Kokoro Mixed Martial Arts fight team are about to go back into fight season. The lads are preparing well and we’re looking forward to some great matchups. Expect fireworks! Some of the bouts are already arranged.

Kokoro Mixed Martial Arts hosted the Dublin weighin session for tomorrow’s Chaos Fighting Championships 2 this evening. The results were as follows;
As Irish MMA continues to bring itself more inline with it’s Eurpean counterparts; the Elite Fighting Revolution are now to introduce C-Class National Titles to it’s show. Leo Burdock (2-0-0) is to fight for the Featherweight Title against Mo Taylor (current EFR Junior Champion) on Sunday 16th March, 2008 at EFR12!
Ultimate Conflict Ireland’s debut show in Newry last night (March 1st, 2008) went down a storm. With the most professional production values seen at a home grown Irish MMA show to date, TV coverage (BBC2) and an international card, it’s now poised for greatness and could well become Ireland’s top cage show.
