Kokoro Mixed Martial Arts hosted the Dublin weighin session for tomorrow’s Chaos Fighting Championships 2 this evening. The results were as follows;
As Irish MMA continues to bring itself more inline with it’s Eurpean counterparts; the Elite Fighting Revolution are now to introduce C-Class National Titles to it’s show. Leo Burdock (2-0-0) is to fight for the Featherweight Title against Mo Taylor (current EFR Junior Champion) on Sunday 16th March, 2008 at EFR12!

Kokoro MMA Team went down a storm at Chaos 1 with four fights and four wins. Now, we’re all set for “Chaos 2″ on 26th April, 2008. Due to injury; Junior won’t be on the bill and he’ll be sorely missed. But, Kokoro’s newest MMA Team addition is certain to be a crowd pleaser….
Following the withdrawl of Leo’s scheduled opponent at Ultimate Conflict Ireland; it seemed that Leo’s eagerly awaited debut in the Cage was at risk. The promoters at Ultimate Conflict put in the effort and have come up with a replacement. It’s game on for Leo on March 1st, 2008!
It’s a sad day for those of us that were looking forward to Leo Burdock’s first outing in the Cage. SBG Northside agreed a matchup between their fighter, Keith Duffy (1-1-0) and Leo Burdock (1-0-0). Kokoro MMA have just been informed by Ultimate Conflict Ireland that the fight has been pulled by SBG.
Ireland’s top home grown promotion, the UFR, are currently setting match-ups for March 16th, 2008. Kokoro MMA will be there for a second outing as a team and we can’t wait. Leo Burdock impressed at his debut outing at the Chaos Fighting Championships with a quick win over his opponent by standing guillotine choke. Now, he’s getting ready for his second outing. This time – in the cage.
Talk about an eventful day! 15th December was the date that we held our 1st Annual Kokoro Combat Challenge. More importantly however, later that night 30 of us got together for fun, food, beer and errrm… …more fun!

Shane Thomas made a deal with himself that, win or lose, he would retire from full contact fighting following his fight at Tribal Warfare. Kokoro MMA were in Galway for the weekend and it was a great event!
Two weeks after he bounced not too happily over the bonet of a car, we’re yet to figure out where the hell Leo has dissappeared to!
Neno Platisa continues to show his dedication to the sport of MMA and his personal development as a Martial Artist. Within 24 hours of his Semi Pro debut he was looking for his next matchup.
This weekends trip to Antrim was a blast in every respect with two Kokoro MMA fighters making their ring Debut. Seamus Cassells with an amateur matchup and Neno Platisa jumping straight in at Semi Pro following just 6 months of Martial Arts training.
