Keeping up to date with events is not easy. There are many organisations/promoters in Ireland and there’s no central event listing supported by all. This list contains all the events, that we are aware of, that we believe may be of interest to our members (including some from outside of Ireland).
Any new events or additional information to add? Cost, location, times, fight cards, links – just drop us a line and we’ll add any info you have (contact form only please – no sms).

Irish MMA Class System
A CLASS: Pro : Full Rules, Elbows and Strikes to Head, Standing and Grounded.
B CLASS: Pro : Full Rules, Strikes to Head Standing and Grounded, No Elbows to Head.
C CLASS: Am : Restricted Rules, No Strikes to Head When Grounded.
D CLASS: Am : Limited Rules, Grappling Based, No Strikes to Head, Standing and Grounded.* A fighter is considered “grounded” where 3 or more points of the body are in contact with the ground (i.e. two feet and one knee) and/or the fighter has back or belly in contact with the mat. This is known as the “three point rule”.
This system is fairly mature and offers a great progression path for Irish fighters from all martial arts backgrounds.
