Just wanted to thank Andrea for taking the time to give us lot an introduction to Capoeira this evening. His strength, flexibility, agility and skill is SICKENING. So, much as I would hope to have him shot (for fear of looking fiercely unskilled by comparison)… …instead we’ve gone and made a deal!

Throughout the month; we’ve been keeping an eye on a few lads who’s approach to training is exemplary. As a result; they’ve progressed at a solid rate and have picked up a good understanding of the basics of the strike, clinch and ground games. It’s an absolute pleasure to confirm a few promotions.

20:00 Start for Martial Arts Training Sessions
Starting next week we’ll be strictly adhering to the training schedule (times). MMA and Kyokushin sessions are due to start at 20:00 sharp. We’ll no longer be starting late and/or interrupting training sessions to accommodate late arrivals.
Kyokushin Schedule Change
A few people have mentioned that getting into the gym for 7pm isn’t easy. Bartek has kindly agreed that, by popular demand, the Monday night Kyokushin sessions will now run from 20:00 - 22:00. We’ll update the schedule section as soon as we can.

Bank Holiday Kyokushin Training is ON!
For those of us that don’t want to waste a bank holiday on the beer…. ….Kyokushin training is ON this Monday. Bartek will be there and the Kyokushin side of the club is growing quickly. Take advantage of it guys. It’s GREAT training - hind, mind, body & spirit!
