Correct me if I’m wrong…. Didn’t Will fight Darren Friel at the last event? Rematch? Different guy?

Can’t wait to see Our Leader in action. I predict Shane will win……. by Murder !!

Well spotted Batman. Typo on my part. He’s fighting Paul Brennan.

Cool. Would of been a good rematch!! ha.

Paul Brennan ay. I remember that guy too. Loves to clinch and get take downs. Got a few boo’s in his last fight and the ref had to talk to both fighters about their reluctance to hit each other. He still won it tho.

Can’t wait for it now…… Bring on the winter!! (The real winter)

hey all, i know i’m not in the club anymore, but ill be driving up to see shane’s fight in august if any1 wants a lift.
I live in galway now so i wont be going by dublin unfortuately. Ill be going via galway, tuam, carrick on shannon, enniskiln, antrim and back the same night. so if any1 is on or near that route and wants a lift let me know. So far i am bringing 1 person for def and another maybe… car will fit 5 with a squeeze

Not sure about ultimate conflict but more than likely will go to that too. Will know closer to the date.

That’s really good of you mate! And bottom line… …you’ll always be one of us! Hah! :-) Colin will put a sign up sheet for cars nearer the event. Jump on the thread when it goes up. See you shortly mate and I’m grateful for your support. Let’s see if I can do better this time around!

I’ll be going up guys and will more than likely grab some sort of 7-seater from work, so I should be able to give 5 or so lifts up. As Shane said we’ll confirm closer to the time.

Just watched Paul Brennan again on the Fight Network - he looked clever enough on the ground, but I reckon Will has too much class for him standing up.

Just watched it myself. Was very nice. Any Sudden Impact fighter is going to be well rounded. They’re a class team with superb coach. Brennan was good…. …but Will is an ANIMAL on the ground these days. Like watching a crazy strong python crushing the life out of anything that moves. Really amazing stuff.

The last thing Brennan will want to do is try going to the ground and playing subs as he did there. Will would be in his element in a fight like that.

I was suprised when i heard he likes to stand up cause i remember him from the Chaos 2 event and it was the last thing he wanted to do,he kept looking for takedowns and his stand up did look very poor so i suppose Will should have him wherever the fight goes….i just find it hard to believe he’s in the same weight class as Will ha
