Promotions

Gradings are awarded at Kokoro Mixed Martial Arts based on an individual’s knowledge, skills and ability under pressure as an all round fighter. An all round fighter is a person who is effective as a striker and grappler in the standup, clinch and ground ranges. Please join us in congratulating a few lads who thoroughly deserve their promotions.

Cathal Pendred – 8. Kyu – Yellow Belt
Ronan Keenan – 10. Kyu – White, Yellow Stripe
Johnny Bowden – 10. Kyu – White, Yellow Stripe
Adi Mujanovic – 10. Kyu – White, Yellow Stripe

These are a dedicated bunch of lads and I’m proud to recognise their progression as all round fighters that are increasingly comfortable in all ranges of combat.

From this point forward; belts are to be worn during MMA sessions.

Congratulations Lads! You’re doing us and yourselves proud!
