Road Trip: EFR 14 – August 24th
Shane returns to the ring against Aidan Scullion on August 24th. I know there’s going to be a lot of support for our fearless leader, so please sign up here if you want to make the trip to see him fight.
Volunteers to drive up will be greatly appreciated, just leave a comment below and I’ll try to organise lifts up for everyone on the day. Good times!
The event is being held in The Elk Hotel/Night Club in Toome, Co Antrim. As Shane has mentioned below, paying me the €20 in advance will save you a few quid on the exchange, and will guarantee a seat.
As Shane has mentioned below, we leave the gym at 11:00 sharp on Sunday morning. The fights start at 14:00 (according to the ticket) so there won’t be long to wait before we see a bit of action. I have tickets for everyone who paid so far, but there should be a few left at the door should anyone else want to come up and support Shane.

Yeah you may aswell stick my car up there. I’ll probably have John “the scarecrow” Bowden and Paddy “Dewey from Malcolm in the middle” Coleman in my car so there’s 1 or 2 seats depending on how squashed the poor fuckers in the back want to be.

If by convoy you mean race…. then yeah. ha. I’m sure we’ll all try to stick together but its always good to have phone numbers of the other cars and a map reader in your passenger seat.

Tristan – yeah, it’s Convoy Style (I like that) following Shane’s car, but it usually ends up with everyone arsing around and getting a bit lost. If yourself, the Zoo and James can keep up with Shane, then fair play. Otherwise just give me a ring if you’re getting off track, as D-Rock says.
Sounds like fun, not having seen Shane on the roads you make it sound like Ayrton Senna re-incarnated!
So between Thomas, JD and Seamus who would be considered the most trusted co-pilot?

There’s no guarantee that the event won’t be sold out and you’ll be left standing if you don’t get the advance/discounted tickets.
