Sempai Davide Takes Gold for Kokoro at National Kyokushin Championships
Sempai Davide Conti has fought his way to first place against tough competition in the Sicilian National Kyokushin Championships. We’re immensely proud of Davide’s achievement! A great win for Sempai Davide and a Kyokushin Championship Victory for Kokoro Kyokushin.
Davide walked in through the doors at Kokoro some six months ago and quickly became a well respected member of the club. His clean techniques are a joy to watch. Since joining Kokoro he’s been heavily focused on improving his fighting skills in both Kyokushin and All Round Fighting. We’ve enjoyed helping him out and this weekend his efforts paid off!
The full contact fighters of Kokoro MMA and Kokoro Kyokushin are going from strength to strength. Kokoro have taken 4 MMA victories and a Kyokushin National Championship Gold within the last week! A great way to celebrate the new dojo and gym; and the perfect way to end 2007!

every punch and every kick we had together made me obtain the first position in the sicilian tournament.
Mostly i want to thank Sensei Shane, Senpai Bartek and Davide (Sgobba) for the best help the gave me in my preparation!
