Team Kokoro Turn Up the Heat at “Hells Rage” in Wexford

Just a quick post to congratulate the boys on a rock solid team performance tonight. We’ll do our best to get some photos up along with a small write up asap.

In the meantime; thanks to the lads for doing us proud!

K-1 : 90.0kg : Daragh Kennedy (Kokoro) v. Robert Miskow (Top Pro Kilkenny) – Win RD1
MMA: 70.0kg : Patrick Sheridan (Kokoro) v. Levi Keogh (Total Submission Fighters) – Win RD1
MMA: 73.0kg : Felim Burke (Kokoro) v. Carl Holmes (Total Submission Fighters) – Loss RD1
MMA: 77.0kg : Josh Coughlan (Kokoro) v. Bartosz Miskow (Total Submission Fighters) – Win RD2

We’ve received nothing but glowing feedback from fighters, promoters, fans and reporters. They all seem to be singing the same tune. The lads put on the finest technical displays of the evening and we’re delighted with their performance.

Thanks to the ever present Kokoro Army for showing up and supporting our lads. At one point; the Kokoro Crowd were cheering so loudly they managed to drown out the local crowd.

Great Stuff. Well done lads!

Well worth the trip down to see the 4 of them fight. Definitely the best club on display. Unfortunate for Felim to lose but sure thats the sport. If at first you don’t succeed….. ya know.

Just want to congragulate ye all, great display, Hope Felim is ok, personally I thought yer man went a bit OTT with his celebration.

Cheers Ray. Was all good for Felim. Was a nice clean KO “On The Button” and no adverse effects at all (not even a concusion).

Was really enjoyable as a first show mate and I’m sure the teething problems will be sorted for next time. Thumbs up mate!

Had an absolute blast at the event, was really proud of all the lads who fought. Win or lose it takes some courage to get into the ring so serious kudos to all of them.

Just watched the video of the fights there. Lads done everyone. Great showing from the club and everyone did themselves proud.
