This Week at Kokoro: Focus on Ground Control

We’re getting to know the arm bar in some detail this week. It’s one thing to know “how” to “do an armbar” but it’s a whole other thing to know be able to “attack” with this technique.
The lads ‘n lasses of our beginner’s groups have been working on “The Slinky”; a simple method of gaining control of the guard and opening the door to a whole host of armbar attacks.

ah come on!! defending an armbar:O couldn’t have gotten a pic of me stackin him, maybe proceeding to knock him out with a bit of G’n'P, ala fedor;)
