UFR’s Colin “Big C” Robinson to Fight at UFC 80 on 19th January, 2008.
It’s not everyday that an Irish Man get’s to fight on the card at the Western World’s largest MMA show. To be sharing the card with the likes of BJ Penn, Fabricio Werdum and Gabriel Gonzaga has got to be icing on the cake!
The Ultimate Fighting Revolution (UFR) is Ireland’s Top Home Grown Promotion. The UFR Gym, based in Belfast, boasts multiple title holders and two fighters contracted to the UFC. Great testimony to the hard work and effort that Davy Patterson and our friends at the UFR Gym put into to the Irish & British MMA scene.

I think he blew a big, big, big opportunity in not submitting Eddie Sanchez in his last outing. I’ve only seen Hardonk fight once before so I don’t know if Colin should beat him but I hope so!
